Rachael Dalton

Rachel previously worked in University Hospital Galway (UHG) as an ANP in Prostate Cancer where she developed a comprehensive survivorship programme and ran support groups for prostate cancer patients and their families. She won the UHG research award 2018 for her description of this service. She has developed and facilitated men’s health educations events across the west of Ireland and is a reviewer for the Irish Cancer Society publications and the British Journal of Nursing. She and her colleagues at UHG Urology Department were awarded second prize at EAUN 2023 for setting up a clinical-academic partnered hybrid journal and research club.
