Our Aims

• To act as a representative body for nurses working in or who have an interest in urology
• To promote high standards in the practice and development of urological nursing

Our vision for the future

We recognise the need for a more holistic approach to the care of Urology patients providing an expert advisory service with the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment plans as appropriate. We aim to provide ongoing education and support through dissemination of information and current developments, and by working in collaboration with relevant organisations (see Resources section)

Activities 

• Annual IAUN Conference: Since 2004 we have been running an annual educational Conference for our members.  These days take place in January each year.
• Education Webinars: Watch our website or your email inbox for notification of our seasonal Webinars hosted by MedCafe.

Meetings

There are 10 council members who meet every 3 – 4 months in person or by teleconference.
